Who we are
AT YOUR PRICE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16873695. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@atyourprice.co.uk or on 07442 248222.
What we collect
When you name a price through this website, you give us:
- your name and phone number, and your email address if you give one
- the collection address, which floor it is on, whether there is a lift and whether there is parking within twenty metres
- the delivery address and the same details
- an additional stop, if your move needs one
- the date you want to move, and a time window if you need one
- how many movers you want, how many items there are and what they are
- whether anything needs dismantling or weighs more than fifty kilograms
- anything else you ask us for
- the price you name
We do not ask for card or bank details on this website. The deposit and the balance are paid directly, by bank transfer or in cash, outside this site.
Why we use it
- to work out whether we can do the job at your price, and to answer you
- to carry out the move, which means the driver needs the addresses and the access details
- to contact you about your booking
- to keep the records a company is required to keep
Our lawful basis
- Performing a contract with you, or taking steps at your request before one exists, for everything to do with quoting and carrying out your move.
- Our legitimate interests in running the business and improving the service, weighed against your rights.
- Legal obligation, for accounting and tax records.
Where it is kept
Your booking is stored in a database hosted by Supabase in London, in the United Kingdom. Email we send about your booking goes through Resend, in Ireland. The website itself is hosted by Render and holds none of your information.
The pages also load typefaces from Google Fonts and one software library from jsDelivr. As with any website you visit, your IP address is visible to those services. Neither of them stores anything in your browser on this site.
Who sees it
The people in our office who handle bookings, and the driver assigned to your job, who needs the addresses and access details to do it. Nobody else. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- An enquiry that does not become a booking: twelve months, so we can see the history if you come back to us.
- A completed job: six years from the end of the tax year it falls in, because HMRC requires us to keep business records that long.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to someone else. You can also object to us using it. Write to info@atyourprice.co.uk and we will answer within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first, so we can put it right.
Marketing
We do not send marketing emails and we do not add you to a mailing list. If you hear from us, it is about your move.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is a significant one and we hold your details, we will tell you.
